It's a former Holiday Inn, so the rooms aren't anything fancy, but the price is usually right and it's a long walk or a short cab ride to town. I have a timeshare at the paradisus, but we always manage to squeeze in a day or two at the Costa Club's pool -- it's always quiet there and that huge pool is great. Even their lunch/snack menu is reasonable and staff is always very nice, even though they know we're not staying there (by the way, we've stayed there twice, but about 7 and 6 years ago when it was still the Fiesta Inn).
