I have not stayed there myself but I have spoken with two women from Michigan that stay there every year for several weeks at a time. I also know the managers of the hotel as they also manage the villa where we have stayed the last two years. Joel and Angelica are very nice and speak pretty good English. The posted rate for a double was $80.00 US, but I know for a fact if you offer cash he will make you a deal.They have two small pools. one at the hotel and one across the street at the beach. The ocean is only about 80 feet from the door of the hotel and the waiters at the beach bar, Xavier and Manuel take very good care of you while relaxing at the beach. The beach is quite rocky, but makes for some great snorkeling. There is also a dive shop on the property if you would like to dive. Ask Joel to call Enricque.

I have not stayed at Club del Sol or seen the inside, but I know the Dzul Ha reef. I met Joel at Christmas time and I agree that he is a very nice guy. I think his English is excellent. Dzul Ha reef is my favorite place to snorkel. I catch a cab and snorkel at Dzul Ha as often as I can.
