My husband-to-be and I will be staying at the Hotel Flamingo this coming July. It will be our honeymoon and we decided to stay away from the gigantic all-inclusives. Hotel Flamingo has some pretty good reviews in Frommers travel guide as well as from some people I have been chatting with on the web. Our stay will be in the low season and it will cost us $214.00(USD) each for seven nights. That price also includes a nice breakfast every morning. No pool, but good downtown location as far as I can tell. There is quite a bit of info out there if you type the hotel's name in metacrawler or hotbot.
