I took my wife and 2 children (ages 13&15) and stayed at the Crown Paradise last year. Though it is clearly far from a luxury hotel, we had a fantastic experience. The staff couldn't do enough for you, food was just fine (not 4 star but good..and lot's of it!!) The beach could be accessed via an underpass so children could avoid crossing the road. (nice private beach with access to a sunken airplane and lots and lots of beautiful fish. The hotel is only a $4-$5 cab ride..maybe 2 miles away from town. VERY SAFE to walk or roller blade along the water to town if your energetic. OVERALL...a great time. In fact, we are going back again this Feb!
