Rick: My (new) husband and I just honeymooned in Cozumel, at the Fiesta Americana. We shortned both to "Coz" and "FA". You know, it was perfectly nice - we didn't have one complaint. However, if we were to return, I would want something with a lot more warmth and character. It was a bit generic for me, although it was colorful (the entire hotel is bright pink). We went to town to eat each night, would NEVER do an all-inclusive. Their prices were high. Coffee across the street was $2.50 per cup, I thought it was ridiculous. For diving purposes, you wouldn't have any problem with their Dive Club, or there are lots of others to choose from. It is 5 bucks in pesos to get to town, not bad. Some hotels more southern cost 15-20 to town. Ouch! So I would say it is pretty well located. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions you have. You're going to have a great time - we did.
