Yes there are dryers in the room. I was there in April of '99 and I found the dryer in our room to work just fine. I don't iron at home any more than I have to so I sure didn't iron on vacation! lol So I don't know about availability. There was a laundry bag in the closet so you could have things done.
By the way, I think it is a very nice hotel and the view of the ocean from the top floor was spectacular.
