We've stayed at the Fiesta Americana twice and found it to be quite nice. We go in the off season so we never have to fight for chairs, etc. Our rooms were always very clean. The tile floors were mopped daily. We liked the location because we didn't have to drive thru town with the cruise ship traffic. We usually only went in that direction in the evening. I would def. not go All inclusive. There is too much to enjoy down town in the evening. We always ate breakfast at the hotel and found it to be good. We are not divers however and can be of no help there. Also, maybe we have had good experiences because the hotel is not crowded when we go. Don't know your taste or budget, but I believe you would find this hotel to be nice. We're not ones for "stuffy hotels" so this seems to suit us. I did worry way too much about our hotel and the drinking water the first time we planned a trip. Just enjoy!
