Fly into Cancun, then you can take the ferry to Cozumel from Playa, a taxi or van will drive you to the ferry. Iberostar is nice. They have an excellent dive shop at the resort where you can go on dives. I suggest you dive Palancar and Columbia. They are great. It would also be a good idea to take the ferry to Playa Del Carmen and see some ruins or go on a snorkling tour there. Iberostar has rooms in Bungalo style. It's neat.
