I have always stayed at the PLG. It is convenient, walking distance to town, the rooms are big with a living area, wet bar which gives two sinks per room, the dive shop & pier are downstairs, every room is ocean view, & while it is older, I think it is fairly well maintained--this is Mexico after all. There isa newly opened Walmart-like store across the street which is very nice & carries a lot of food & things. The staff has always treated me well as I treat them & many of them now know me by name since I have been there several times. For price,& convenience, I think I have gotten my money's worth. I always book with a tour that includes airfare & hotel, so I think it is less than if you just book your room with them.
