Hello There!
Thought you might know... You are in for a treat.
I have been to Cozumel 4 times and stayed the last 3 times at El Cozumeleno.
In fact, the last time we booked for Sol Caribe and brought another couple, but after the first night we all packed up and headed to El Cozumeleno once again. It is a few more miles out of the city, but it is definitly worth the taxi rides.
All the room views are grander than I have ever seen and we have been all over the Carribbean.
It is a quite, elagant, easy going, very clean and great for families or couples.

***When you get there you might want to ask for one of the corner rooms. They are breath taking... They are not much more expensive, if any, and have large sliding doors and window veiws with balconys on both sides of the room. These rooms are bigger, even though all their rooms are big with a great view and a balcony.
We have stayed in one room and then when available moved into the corner room for part of our stay. It is great....
We are headed back to Cozumel also in July and
back to El Cozumeleno. Yeah!
Happy Traveling
Have fun!
Gail
