: : : Family of 4 (2 boys 13 & 16) going to Coz. last week of July. After reading messages on the board about Allegro getting very uneasy about the quality of this resort. Would appreciate any information about the resort. Thanks : : hey man i have went to cozamel for 4 years now and everytime i go i hate the fact that we have to go. we stay for 8 days at the dimond resort....i think they changed the name though..but im sure a travel agent would know anyways...... its one where you get a wrist band and everything is free!! and then if you want to just sit by the pool all day well they will entertane you the whole time and at night they put on a play for you like grease or cats.. i like it so much because its not like a hotel its like more of a hut(a very nice huts!!!!) well there not huts but i dont know what you would call them anyways i say that because there are 4 rooms down stairs and 4 up stairs so they are all seprate and like they have 2 pools a hot-tub and they have windsurfing and stuff that you can do all for free if you are on the resort : ------ My husband and I stayed at the Allegro in Aruba we loved it! The food was good and everything was already paid for. It was more of a younger crowd - HOONEYMOONERS!! But there were some famlies there that stayed there quite a few times. Only problem we had was check in, it was done kind of backwards, and there were a few mix ups with room reservations. They screwed up ours and we yelled a little - it was worth it though we gog a delux sweet with an ocen view and huge balcony. GOOD LUCK!!!
