As you exit the airport, you will be approached by people who can put you in a van to Playa Del Carmen. The cost is $10 - 15usd per person, depending on the size of your group. I was charged $15 and was joined by a group of five who paid $50 for the group. From there, it's a short walk to the ferry pier and take the next ferry over to Cozumel. This is the only way to go besides flying!
