I live here on the island and have had assorted relatives stay at PLG. The rooms are very nice and clean, the view is gorgeous! I obvious am disagreeing with the other response you have had so far! The major advantages of the hotel are: walking distance to town, large supermarket across the street, great snorkeling right there.

For partying, there's Carlos & Charlies in town. The restaurants in town are probably your best bet as well. There's so many to choose from. We like The French Quarter, which is new.

Don't be anxious about your hotel, it's a great choice!
