I was also at the Iberostar recently. I think that Swampy was just stating the facts about the beach and other things to try to warn people that they may want to ask their travel agent a few questions before they leave. According to my brochure from the travel agent they listed it as having a beautiful sandy beach, what does yours say? I think that a little warning can go a long way in letting you know what you are in for when you get there. I think Swampy said that it was a beautiful place. I thought so too but I could have lived without the sewage smell. I think that the bugs could have been kept under control a little better too.....after all they did do what looked like routine sprays of the rooms for ants etc.
I hope you have a nice time there. I know that it was nice but could have been better had they spiffed up the sewage and bug issue. I think that the beach was beautiful too but it was not the white sand that they advertised, unless of course they were referring to the truckloads that they must have brought in and placed between the pools and the slope towards the natural beach.
I just think that when you are paying top dollar for a 5 star hotel you should not have to smell sewage.
