We loved it. There is a dive shop connected to the hotel, but we don't dive. We just really liked our stay at the Fiesta Americana and we enjoyed the fact that it was further away from town. It was more peaceful, and we appreciated that. We had friends that stayed at La Ceiba and they were not overjoyed. They were the only people I talked to who didn't recommend their hotel wholeheartedly. They said the orange juice was good, but that was it for the food. They said at best it was charming. Fiesta Americana was beautiful with a wonderful view. Fiesta Inn looked very nice also, but I didn't go in. I would think that it would be a good choice. It had an inviting exterior and seemed to be of decent quality. But again, I'm limited to appearances. La Ceiba looked nice too. Trudy : The Fiesta Inn is highly recommended--it is a very nice hotel and is a great value. It is slightly south of town, but still close enough to the excitement. It is right across the street from the beach and a pier. It is comparable to the more expensive beachfront Plaza las Glorias or Fiesta Americana, so don't waste your money on those. La Ceiba is also a great hotel for divers--it is on the waterfront and is right next to the international pier.
