:My husband Ken, my brother-in-law, his wife and I went to El Coz last summer and have planned a return trip this July. The hotel is great; the brochures don't do it justice. Plan to take an all-day snorkling trip. We visited the Mayan ruins which are interesting to an archeology buff like myself, but others may fnd it a waste of an afternoon. There are plenty of tours, but we spent most of our time snorkling along the beach and lying on the sand. There were a number of vacationing teenagers there when we went, and the hotel plans a number of activities during the day that your son may enjoy. Have a great time!

: Donna, My wife and I just returned from a 7 day all inclusive stat at the El Coz. and it is very nice and also brand new. I would suggest you try to get up on the 6th or 7th floor for the best views from your balcony. As for things to do #1 for us was the amazon tour. A lady named ann takes you back into places very few people see . It is an all day excursion with sightseeing, ruins, snorkling on reefs that defy description, and the best chicken i have ever eaten. It is a blast. My second recommendation would be to schedule an all day snorkel trip right out of the hotel. If you have any further questions feel free to call us at 616-692-3060.

: We just returned from a week at EL Cozumeleno and we echo everything said above. The hotel is very nice, the service excellent by very friendly staff. The food was plentiful and great with enough variety to satisfy anyone. We also took the Tarzan Tour with Annie and it was a super day. She really knows her stuff...Ask for her when you call her or better yet email her at amazonann@hotmail.com. We are going back!
