My husband and I stayed at the El Coz in September 99 during the height of construction. We had a good time. The staff was friendly and we liked the food. I could have done with out the construction noise. They were working at a very fast pace. I would think that the construction should be pretty much done by now, or maybe just doing some finishing work. The room we had was average but the ocean view was wonderful. The beach was nice. The water was clear but no coral to look at under the water. We checked the bikes out for a day and rode them into town which was fun. It wasn't crowded at the hotel when we went, but with the additional 100 rooms or so that may be different now. I'm sorry I don't have any e-mail pictures.
